Why I Set Up Parklands Farm Greyhound Hotel
My name is Caroline and I have owned and rescued dogs for most of my life. I became passionate about Greyhounds and their plight when I was a teenager and rescued Honey, my first Greyhound in 2005 and have never looked back! Greyhounds have been in my life ever since and I have built a good knowledge of the breed over this time.
My husband Geoff and I live in a farmhouse in the Surrey countryside, set in an acre of it’s own land and with hundreds of acres of fields and woodlands surrounding our home – a perfect setting for a luxury Greyhound Hotel.
We have rescued numerous Greyhounds and realise many have suffered in their previous life before finding their forever homes. We understand Greyhounds and how they have different needs and requirements compared to other breeds and also understand the owners and how important it is to find the right environment to leave their Greyhounds when they go away. I wanted to be able to provide a luxury home from home environment in which the owners feel completely happy and at ease that their Greyhound is in the best possible care.
